Rainbows Uniform

Rainbows are encouraged to wear at least one item of Rainbow wear.

8th Abingdon Rainbows will happily accept either old style or new style uniform for the foreseeable future, so you do not need to replace the old uniform unless you wish to.

The new style Rainbow wear is now available to buy, but it was only released in July 2026 so there is unlikely to be much new style uniform available on preloved sites. It is possible to buy new items through the unit (saving postage), or direct from Girlguiding UK.

The Rainbow sash is presented to the Rainbows when they make their Promise and is supplied by the unit, together with the Rainbow books as part of the Joining Fee.
